The Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Simon Harris has today welcomed the decision by Brown Brothers Harriman to open a new office in Ireland.
 
Brown Brothers Harriman's new office is located on Herbert Street in Dublin 2 where it operates a fund administration and trustee services business.
 
Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Simon Harris TD commented, "It's apt that Brown Brothers Harriman mark their 20 years doing business in Ireland with the opening of a new and expanded premises.

"It is a strong vote of confidence in the resilience of Ireland's International Financial Services sector and the Government's aim to promote sustainable jobs and economic growth into the future. I look forward to working with BBH and the wider industry in attracting more business to Ireland."

CEO at IDA Ireland, Martin Shanahan added, "Growing our cluster of financial services clients in Ireland is a key part of our new strategy – released this year.

"When companies like BBH make decisions to locate and grow in Ireland, it sends out a message to all other financial institutions that Ireland is a great place to locate your business."
