Dublin’s largest careers event, Jobs Expo, will be returning to Croke Park on Saturday with thousands of jobs from a range of state, private, national and international companies and sectors. Recruiters will include An Garda Síochána, the National Ambulance Service, Tifco Hotels, Peter McVerry Trust and the Canadian Government.
The event will showcase more than 35 leading employers, educators and professional development experts, collectively offering thousands of job opportunities at home and abroad, a full conference day of talks and seminars and free career advice in the event's Career Clinic.
The Career Clinic offers the chance for attendees to meet a team of professional careers coaches free of charge. Jobs Expo Dublin's Agenda Stage will offer a full conference day free, topical talks by industry insiders. These will include job-seeking skills, such as interview techniques and CV writing. Furthermore, speakers will discuss topics such working for PhoneWatch and living in Canada.
Broadcaster and author, Andrea Hayes will chair a panel discussion on the contentious issue of the gender pay gap and how professional women can break the 'glass ceiling' to move into senior roles. Participants in the discussion will include columnist and broadcaster - Barbara Scully, businesswoman - Aisling Holly and journalist - Angie Mezzetti.
