It was announced this week that global healthy fast food chain, Freshii, will open six new Irish restaurants by Christmas 2017 including Dame Street, The Point Village, Sandyford and Smithfield. The locations for two additional outlets, which are currently going through planning, will be announced at a later date.

The six new store openings will create 60 fulltime and part time jobs.

Freshii offers a healthy and customisable menu built around high-quality fresh ingredients. The menu includes breakfast, tossed salads, hot bowls, burritos, healthy wraps, soups, fresh pressed juices, smoothies and frozen yogurt.

Meal choices are based on fibre-rich, slow-burning carbs, essential fats and lean proteins. Freshii also caters for every dietary and taste bud preference including paleo, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free and wheat free.

The announcement was made by Freshii’s Founder & CEO Matthew Corrin who was in Ireland to speak at Ireland’s Convenience Retailer Summit at The Clayton, Burlington Road.

Speaking yesterday, he said, "I’m delighted that Freshii has grown so quickly in Ireland. By Christmas we will have close to twenty Freshii outlets across the country – which is a significant achievement by our Irish Master Franchise owners Dave O’Donoghue and Cormac Manning in just over two years."
