Freshly Chopped announces the creation of 150 new jobs

Today, co-founder and CEO of Freshly Chopped, Brian Lee, announced the creation of 150 new jobs, a mix of full and part time, as it continues its expansion across Ireland, Britain, and Cyprus.

The healthy food company will open 10 new stores before Christmas on the back of its successful franchise programme, and strategic partnerships with BWG, Maxol, the Mount Charles Group, Aramark and a new deal with Corrib Oil.

Freshly Chopped will open its 50th store in Ulster University, followed by nine more new stores across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Cyprus and England.

New outlets in the University of Limerick, Tralee, Drogheda, Tullamore, and Limerick City will see the company increase its footprint in the Republic of Ireland. The healthy food company’s successful partnership with the Mount Charles Group will result in two new Northern Irish restaurants in the University of Ulster and Donegall Square in Belfast.

Freshly Chopped will also open its second store in Cyprus, and its first in Britain, in Manchester, in early December.

Speaking at the announcement, Brian Lee, co-founder and managing director of Freshly Chopped commented: “We are delighted to be accelerating our growth across four different markets.These 10 new stores showcase the success of our growth programme that we have used to continue the revolution in healthy fast food."
