Duff & Phelps has officially opened its new office on 24 St. Stephens Green in Dublin 2. The office was officially opened by the President of Duff & Phelps, Jacob Silverman and CEO of IDA Ireland, Martin Shanahan.

The new office gives the global advisory firm capacity to add 30 financial services professionals to its Irish team. Duff & Phelps will look to expand in a number of areas including Valuation, Compliance and Regulatory Consulting, Real Estate Advisory Services and Advisory, with recruitment having already commenced.

Duff & Phelps' recent acquisition of Kroll, the global leader in complex investigations, security and cyber solutions, will also strengthen the firm’s disputes and investigations offering in Ireland.

The new office space is the latest element of the New York headquartered company’s growth in Ireland. Duff & Phelps entered the Irish market in 2014 with the acquisition of the Restructuring and Insolvency Division of RSM Farrell Grant Sparks. The firm further increased its service offering in Ireland with strategic acquisitions of Kinetic Partners and Corporate Finance Ireland.

Speaking today, President of Duff & Phelps, Jacob Silverman said, "We are delighted to officially open our new office in the centre of Dublin. Since 2014, Duff & Phelps has been building a presence in Ireland and we are very proud of the work we have done for our Irish and international clients in Dublin. This new marquee office represents a very important investment from Duff & Phelps and highlights our ambition and hopes for the future."

He added, "With over 2,500 people working across 70 locations, Duff & Phelps is only as good as the people who make up our company. In Dublin, we have 70 world class professionals supporting our clients in the areas of valuation, corporate finance, disputes and investigations, compliance and regulatory matters, and other governance-related issues. This new office will allow us to increase our staff count and grow new service lines for existing clients in addition to winning new business."
