Gourmet Food Parlour partners with FoodFlicker

It was announced this week that Gourmet Food Parlour (GFP), the restaurant & catering group have built a partnership with FoodFlicker, the online nutrition and performance resource. They will work together to bring FoodFlicker specials to all of the Gourmet Food Parlour restaurants for all customers to enjoy.

Gourmet Food Parlour are official nutritional partners with the Dublin GAA County Board, they provide the training re-fuel meals for Leinster Rugby and will now work directly with performance nutritionist Daniel Davey, Co-founder of FoodFlicker, to cater for each player’s dietary needs. 

The partnership will feature healthy weekly recipes across all locations and FoodFlicker recipe videos via the Gourmet Food Parlour website. Dedicated to providing tasty and nutritious recipes combined with the latest nutrition and performance science, those seeking Food Flicker approved meals need only look for the Food Flicker logo on the menu for the approved dishes.

Set up by best friends, Lorraine Heskin and Lorraine Byrne, the first Gourmet Food Parlour premises was established in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin in 2006. They now own branches in Swords, Malahide and Dun Laoghaire and run partnerships with House on Leeson St, and 37 Dawson St. Their catering division works with several large corporations, providing catering to industry giants such as Google, Universal, Alltech & the Special Olympics.

Earlier this year, Gourmet Food Parlour invested half a million into the expansion of their store in Swords and are celebrating 10 years in business.

Speaking about the partnership, Gourmet Food Parlour Director, Lorraine Heskin said, "We are so happy to work with such a fast growing and respected company as FoodFlicker. Their work with elite sports teams and athletes has brought us closer together over time to design and deliver nutritionally strong meals. We have worked together for the past few years informally and I’m delighted to now formalise our relationship and build on what has been a successful partnership together."
