New data from Vision Net shows that the number of Irish Company start-ups in the first 9 months of the year are up 6% on the same period in 2014.

Furthermore, the best month for start-ups so far this year is September which saw 1,784 new companies set up. It's actually the second month this year to have over 1,700 start-ups - July was the other and saw 1,770 new companies formed.

According to Vision Net, "The last time we saw two months in a calendar year record over 1,700 company start-ups was back in 2007 - with the insolvency rate for the year also down, this is yet another sign of Ireland's continued economic recovery."
