Leading Personal Trainer, TV Broadcaster, Author and Corporate Wellness Expert Karl Henry has today been announced as the new Brand Ambassador for Irish Life.
 
Karl was on site with Irish Life staff to launch Irish Life’s ‘Health and Wellbeing Month’ for October. He is also leading a ‘Desk to 5k’ running challenge with Irish Life staff as part of his new role as brand ambassador.
 
This comes after recent research by Irish Life showed that less than half (43%) of the working population in Ireland believe that their employer cares about their health and wellbeing, with only 23% of employees feeling satisfied with these benefits at their workplace. 

As a result, over half (57%) of working adults claimed they would be interested in receiving more health and wellbeing benefits in their workplace.
 
Karl Henry commented, "I am a strong advocate for corporate wellbeing and fitness in the workplace and I’m delighted to be working with Irish Life as Brand Ambassador.

"I hope to give practical advice on many important issues such as nutrition, sleep routines, exercise, and general workplace wellbeing to Irish Life staff and customers."
