Odyssey VC announced last week that due to significant and consistent year-on-year growth since its establishment in 2015, the company is to create at least 100 new jobs, supported by Enterprise Ireland to be based at its headquarters in Sallins, County Kildare.
The Irish provider of compliant IT solutions offers Integrated Cloud and Computerised System Lifecycle Management Services to Life Science companies that operate in highly regulated environments. Odyssey VC currently supports client companies in Ireland and globally.
The new jobs will be highly skilled in nature and will be spread across the company’s technical, product development, service delivery and compliance departments.
The announcement of new jobs coincides with the launch of the company’s new brand, CompliantCloud.com, which will be the digital offering of the company going forward. It is a first of its kind, web-based platform that allows regulated customers to manage compliant cloud hosting and additional compliance services online.
The announcement of the new jobs was made at Kildare County Council headquarters in Naas by Deputy, Martin Heydon who was deputising for Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys.
Speaking last week, Minister for Business, Enterprise, and Innovation, Heather Humphreys said, "Odyssey is an indigenous company with real global ambition and its announcement today of the creation of 100 new jobs is exciting news for the county. In just a little under five years in operation the highly experienced team led by Oisín and Fionnán has built an early stage company into a global market leader in its field."
CEO and co-founder of Odyssey VC, Oisín Curran added, "I would also like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years, including Kildare Local Enterprise Office and Enterprise Ireland. We look forward to continuing our growth, while providing the best-in-class services which has resulted in 100% repeat business across our client base."
