Ryanair does not expect strike action this summer as relations with unions have improved significantly in the past three months, although it cannot be ruled out entirely, the Irish low-cost carrier's marketing chief said on Thursday.
"We don't see a horizon of unrest," Chief Marketing Officer Kenny Jacobs told journalists at a press conference in London. "We don't see a risk of strikes in the summer. That doesn't mean there won't be."
Asked if he still expected agreements to be reached with all of Ryanair's major unions by the end of March, Jacobs said: "Yes, that's fair to say." (Reuters)
