In a press release issued today, Abrivia Recruitment’s have announced a new campaign to donate up to €150 to the AWARE charity for each successful job placement.
AWARE ambassador and GAA All-Star Bernard Brogan launched the campaign today. The Dublin-based recruitment agency is committed to raising at least €10,000 for the charity over the next twelve months. The donation level is linked to the candidate’s new salary but if a client also agrees to make a contribution then Abrivia will double its own donation.
Aware is the national organisation working to provide support and information around depression and related mood disorders, as well as positive mental health education programmes aimed at helping people to stay well and cope with life’s challenges.
CEO of Abrivia Recruitment, Donal O’Brien said, "It’s well-known that one of the most stressful things that you will do in life is to lose or change a job. It’s very easy for people to become disheartened and depressed if the job-hunting process takes longer than expected or that role they really wanted doesn’t come their way. We’ve experienced this firsthand so we know how important it is to encourage and support job candidates because maintaining a positive mental attitude throughout is vital to their overall success."
Drew Flood, Business Development Executive with Aware added, "It is fantastic to see a company like Abrivia engaging with a charity that is so aligned with its own business; it makes sense that during the recruitment process, resilience and a positive mental attitude is encouraged and promoted."
