It was announced today that Castleknock Hotel has completed a €7-million development which includes 52 additional bedrooms, a lavish spa and two new restaurants.

The development has increased capacity at the award-winning four-star hotel from 138 rooms to 190. Thirty eight rooms are ‘deluxe rooms’ with upgraded amenities; three are deluxe executive suites with a four-poster bed and Jacuzzi bath.

The development began in January 2017 and local construction company BURNS Construction completed the €7-million development on the Castleknock Hotel. The new development sees the introduction of 25 new jobs.

Castleknock Hotel is part of the FBD Hotels and Resorts Group, which includes Faithlegg in Waterford, and Sunset Beach and La Cala Resort in Spain.

Speaking this week, Chief Executive at FBD Hotel & Resorts, David Kelly said, "The completion of the development at Castleknock Hotel is a landmark moment for us and a fitting end to 2017 which has been another very positive year for our Group. More bedrooms, more luxurious services and more dining options mean we can meet a growing demand from both the local community and the wider domestic and international markets, especially guests from mainland Europe."
