Property advisors, Savills and CBRE are seeking restaurant operators for ‘The Glassbox’ – a 3,832 sq. f.t glass box building situated at the Point Square development in Dublin’s north docklands.
The restaurant – which is currently under construction and due for completion in 2020 – will feature ground floor space extending to 2,217 sq. ft., with the potential for an additional 1,615 sq. ft. at both mezzanine and second floor levels – depending on the requirements of the operator.
The Point Square District Centre comprises the 252-bedroom Gibson Hotel, a 6-screen Odeon Cinema, and an array of food and beverage operators, including Starbucks, Eddie Rockets, Ruby’s, Freshii and Salad Box.
The office element of Point Square is occupied by Verizon, the US telecommunications company, and Telus International, providers of multilingual customer service outsourcing and digital IT services to global clients. The wider Point Square is also home to the 3 Arena – Ireland’s entertainment venue hosting over 100 concerts per year – in addition to the 970-student bed Point Campus.
Currently under construction within Point Square are the ‘Exo Building’ and ‘North Dock’ office blocks – both are due for completion in 2020 and will bring an additional 4,000 workers to the immediate vicinity. This is in addition to the 241 room Beckett Locke apart-hotel which is also due for completion in 2020.
