The Dylan Hotel in Baggot Street yesterday officially unveiled a €10 million renovation with the addition of 28 new guest bedrooms, the creation of 15 hotel industry jobs and multiple interior updates to the building.
The hotel (formerly the Nurses’ Home for the Royal City of Dublin Hospital) has been in operation for just over ten years and began renovations in August 2016. The development to the Victorian property has seen its 44 deluxe bedroom offering extended to include an additional 28 guestrooms within the existing building.
The significant investment and development of the Irish owned Dylan Hotel has created a further 15 job positions including roles for Front of House, Chefs and in Sales. Throughout the renovation process 50 jobs were created by the building project from local architects, builders and craftsmen.
Speaking at the Dylan Hotel yesterday, Managing Director, Gráinne Ross said, "We are delighted to celebrate a decade of the Dylan Hotel being in business and officially unveil our new bedrooms and renovations. Our guests are at the heart of our business and we are excited to reveal our new rooms as we enter the next decade."
She added, "Thanks to our customers, the hotel has gone from strength to strength and the latest renovation is a marker of how far we have come over the past ten years. We’d like to thank everyone involved for their continued support and look forward to welcoming new and returning guests to the Dylan Hotel in the coming months."
