Chicago-based eDiscovery technology company, George Jon, today announced plans to establish its first international office in Dublin.

The move will create 20 jobs in the technology sector over the next three years. George Jon says that by establishing a physical foothold in the European Union and employing local, Irish application and infrastructure engineering talent, it will be ideally positioned to service and grow its portfolio of EMEA clients, which includes “Big Four” accounting and advisory firms, multinational corporations, law firms, government agencies, and hosting service providers.

George Jon’s CEO and Founder, George Nedwick says, "The need for trained eDiscovery experts in international business is truly universal. As the industry continues to grow and evolve, so too will George Jon’s operational and client service capabilities. We are very excited to take this monumental step and establish a second home in Ireland, a nation that shares our passion for innovation and champions the enterprising spirit."

Welcoming the news, Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar said, "I am pleased that George Jon has chosen to establish its first overseas location in Dublin, with the creation of 20 jobs. We have a strong footprint of tech companies in Dublin and I am sure the city will act as an ideal base for the company to grow its client base across the EU."
