Dublin to host Social Media Summit 2016

It was announced yesterday that the largest ever gathering of Social Media Professionals in Ireland will convene in Dublin’s Helix venue  for the two-day Social Media Summit on 1st and 2nd March, 2016.  
 
The summit was launched by An tArdmhéara, Críona Ní Dhálaigh at Dublin’s Mansion House, the event aims to provide support for new and emerging businesses in the field of social media in Ireland - from start-ups to global brands - by focusing on Social Media priorities, learning, best practice and future strategy planning with some of the world’s leading experts.
 
The initiative was created by Samantha Kelly, TEDx speaker and and Tom Williams of Platinum Events and supported by International Relations in Dublin City Council.
 
The keynote speaker for the event will be internationally renowned Social media Strategist Ted Rubin who was recently named number 13 on Forbes Top 50 Social Media Power Influencers.
 
Other internationally renowned speakers include Ian Cleary, founder of RazorSocial and one of the top 50 content marketers and social media professionals; Melonie Dodaro, author of the number 1 international bestseller 'The LinkedIn Code'; Robert C Stern, The Social Leader.
 
Social Media Summit Director and Co Founder, Tom Williams commented, "Social Media is such an important element in business today and we are attracting over 400 delegates from social media teams at companies and organisations from start-ups to global brands and NGOs.
