Huawei Ireland has today opened a new Dublin office and announced the creation of 100 jobs over the next three years as the company continues to grow in Ireland.
Recruitment is underway for the first phase of the jobs and 30 of these positions are expected to be filled within the next year.
Huawei currently employs 180 staff across its Dublin, Cork and Athlone facilities. Located in Mespil Court since 2016, the Huawei Dublin office will occupy a space of 18,000 sq ft. Huawei Ireland operations at the Dublin Headquarters will include communications, administration, marketing, its Irish consumer business and related sales functions.
Officially opening the new office, Minister Pat Breen said, "I very much welcome Huawei’s clear and ongoing commitment to Ireland and, of course, the creation of 100 new jobs. Their expansion is a great endorsement of Ireland’s ability to provide an enterprise-friendly environment that allows companies such as Huawei to grow and prosper. I wish them every success in their wonderful, state-of-the art offices here in Dublin."
