Ireland’s first fully integrated online accounting and electronic point of sale system (EPOS) has been launched today by Big Red Cloud and AIB Merchant services.

The new system aims to dramatically cut down on paper work in order to enable businesses to record all credit sales and immediately raise and email invoices.

The Big Red Cloud and Clover integration is particulary aimed at businesses in the food & drink, retail, hotel and accommodation, hair and beauty, travel and transport, entertainment and leisure, trades people and professional and business services sectors. Those that have a long tradition of deploying and using traditional EPOS systems are also being targeted.

At a fraction of the cost of traditional POS systems, Clover is a fully integrated point of sale and payment management system allowing businesses to take cash and credit payments, no matter how small the business.

Chief Executive Officer of Big Red Cloud, Marc O’Dwyer commented, "We are continually looking at new ways to bring innovation to our customers and the market at large. This innovative collaboration with AIB Merchant Services and Clover is particularity rewarding in that it address so many expensive and time consuming pain points for retailers across Ireland and the UK.

"Gone is manually entering Z reads, gone is not being able to raise and send invoices from your EPOS and gone is having to manually enter your data into your accounts package.  As a company, we are absolutely thrilled to have delivered something that is of huge value to so many small businesses."
