Entrepreneurs and those interested in trying out life as a startup founder will gather in Cork, March 29th-31st for Techstars Startup Weekend. Techstars Startup Weekend, powered by Google for Startups is the world’s biggest learning programme for entrepreneurs.
The 54-hour programme runs from a Friday night to Sunday afternoon and brings together designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and experts from all domains.
The event aims to help startups experience the highs, lows, fun and pressure that make up life at a startup. Attendees will learn how to create a real company and will meet mentors, investors, co-founders and sponsors.
Since starting in 2009, Techstars Startup Weekend has run in more than 150 countries with over 4000 individual events for more than 250,000 participants. This year’s event will take place at Cork’s city centre innovation campus, REPUBLIC OF WORK. It is a completely volunteer organised, not-for-profit event.
