It was announced last week that A-LIGN, a global security and compliance solutions provider, will establish its EMEA Business Headquarters in Galway, with the creation of approximately 40 roles over the next five years.

The establishment of A-LIGN's Ireland presence is a key step in furthering its international growth strategy. With over 2,500 clients globally, A-LIGN says its new Galway headquarters reaffirms its commitment to the EMEA market, providing clients with consultants and support staff located closer to where they operate.

Welcoming the news last week, Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar said, "I’m really pleased that A-LIGN has chosen to locate its new EMEA HQ in Galway. It’s a real vote of confidence in the city and all it has to offer. The expansion will create approximately 40 new roles for the West Region. I wish the team every success with the expansion."

Chief Executive Officer at A-LIGN, Scott Price added, "Organisations around the world want to demonstrate to their customers and business partners that they take security seriously, which they do through A-LIGN’s independent cybersecurity assessments. Our expansion into Ireland will allow us to better serve clients across the European Union who are looking for top-tier compliance experts that move at startup speed."
