In a press release issued today, Nuritas Ltd. announced the appointment of ex Pfizer Nutrition and Nestle President, Emmet Browne, as its Chief Executive Officer.

Nuritas has developed a proprietary technology using big data techniques to discover bioactive, natural peptides for use in the functional & medical food, personal care, and nutritional supplement markets which are currently estimated to be worth €200B.

Browne brings 25 years working in the pharmaceutical, nutrition and healthcare sectors, including a key role in overseeing, preparing and delivering the sale of Pfizer Nutrition to Nestle for €11.85B in the world’s biggest healthcare deal of 2012.
