Des Kelly Interiors has officially launched its new flagship Blanchardstown store which represents a €1 million investment as part of the group’s expansion plans.
The landmark investment is the latest milestone for the retail group as part of its growth strategy which will see all stores in Leinster undergo extensive refurbishments and an ambition to grow its online presence by 30% over the next five years.
Sleep Zone
The new store offers a selection of engineered flooring, carpets and a dedicated Sleep Zone where customers can experience a unique Pillow Bar and benefit from the expertise of in-house sleep experts when choosing from an extensive selection of beds.
It also offers a free In-Home Consultation Service, where it brings the showroom to customers - this ensures the customers see and feel everything Des Kelly Interiors has to offer alongside expert advice.
Family Business
While the company is synonymous nationwide with carpets, it has successfully transitioned to wider interiors in recent years to meet customer demand.
The three children of founder Des, Youlanda, Greg and Gerardo, currently run the business.
Huge Milestone

Warehousing Operations
The group has recently invested significantly in modernising its warehousing operations to create a more efficient and stream-lined operating system.
The company currently employs 90 people across its 10 stores and has hired an additional 15 for its new store in Westend Retail Park, Blanchardstown.
