Global company, Asana, announced yesterday that they will be establishing an Operations Centre in Dublin to meet growing global demand.
The privately held software company, headquartered in San Francisco and well known throughout Silicon Valley for its unique and healthy workplace culture, plans to initially hire 30 people by 2017.
Asana will initially focus on hiring user and customer support staff to support the growing global demand for its work tracking software.
Launched in 2011, Asana is based in San Francisco and is backed by Benchmark Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, and Peter Thiel.
Head of business at Asana, Chris Farinacci said, "Asana is well-poised for international expansion and adoption. This new office will serve as our European operating hub as we scale and grow our business in Europe, and allow us to more directly serve that growing customer base.
"When looking for a location in Europe to expand our team, Ireland was the ideal choice. Ireland has a great reputation as the European home to many high-growth and innovative technology ventures like ours. Great people are what make a great company, and locating here gives us access to a broad, experienced talent pool.”
