An Irish company, I.O. Systems has completed a project to provide and install 116 automated tray return systems (ATRS) at Dubai International Airport. They have partnered with Herbert Systems, Al Ahmadiah Contracting and Trading. This is the largest ATRS installation project of its kind and has enabled the airport to handle larger volumes of passengers with the same number of staff.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD said, "I.O. Systems is a great example of what is possible for Irish companies overseas, and I wish them every success for the future."
I.O. Systems was established in 1995 and has international offices in the UAE, UK and Japan. The contract is expected to lead to a significant increase in staff in Ireland and the UAE.
