Margaret E Ward, the 'Women on Air' founder will address the next it@Cork ‘Women in Tech’ event taking place in the Clarion Hotel, Cork on 20 May 2015. 
 
The it@Cork ‘Women in Tech’ event is a quarterly lecture series which aims to support and promote female role models and leaders in business and technology.

Margaret will discuss how women can be effective communicators and networkers in the context of her current role as CEO of her global brand communications agency, Clear Ink.

She will also talk about her career successes to date, including her time as an award winning journalist and broadcaster, which led to the establishment of Women on Air, which was established in 2010 and is a voluntary networking group that runs seminars, events and informal training workshops to help give women the skills and confidence to go on radio and television. 

Margaret stepped down from Women on Air in January 2015 to focus on her board responsibilities. She was appointed by the Oireachtas to the Board of RTE in February 2015, she is also a board member of European Movement Ireland.
