In a press release issued today, Sinn Fein Leader Gerry Adams TD has again called for a full Commission of Investigation into transactions by the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC).

Mr Adams was speaking following the publication of the High Court’s written judgement on its reasons for granting an injunction to billionaire businessman Denis O'Brien and IBRC against RTE.

Adams said, "There remain very serious concerns at the actions of the IBRC in respect of the sale of Siteserv and other transactions. The Government has announced an in-house review which has no credibility, which the public has no faith in whatsoever and which has been rejected by almost the entire Opposition in the Dail.

What is very clearly required is a fully transparent, accountable Commission of Investigation to establish the facts of what has occurred. I will be raising this demand with the Taoiseach Mr Kenny, once again, when the Dáil resumes next week."
