It was announced today that following a successful first phase of sales at the Alderlie new homes development in Adamstown, Lucan, 40 new units will be offered to the market this weekend.

Joint sales agents Savills & Leahy Residential are acting on behalf of the developer, Castlethorn Construction.

Alderlie was the most searched for new home development online in 2016 following its launch on October 15th – just three days after the Budget – when the Government announced a tax rebate incentive for new home buyers. Between October and December, 76 units at Alderlie were snapped up in record time.

Three bedroom houses in Alderlie are priced from €270k. Alderlie is launching this Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th February and show homes will be on view from 2.00 – 4.00pm.

The launch of the final sales phase of the Alderlie development will feature 40 houses comprising A-rated 3 bedroom houses. Local amenities include three schools, a number of local shops in addition to the Lucan shopping centre – which is located off the Newcastle Road less than 2km away. Adamstown Train Station is just 150 meters away from the development and provides direct access to Heuston station in just 15 minutes.

The area has benefitted significantly from the opening of the Phoenix Park tunnel which now provides onward service to the IFSC.

Director of New Homes at Savills Ireland, David Browne said, "The speed at which phase one of Alderlie sold out was unprecedented – something we haven’t seen since before the downturn. The introduction of the help-to-buy scheme for new homes buyers was undoubtedly a contributing factor, however, the quality of the units in addition to the new local infrastructure and amenities, has made Adamstown an attractive location to live. We expect the remaining houses to sell in a relatively short period of time."
