The Clayton Hotel Charlemont has officially opened today. The brand new 4 star luxury hotel, which is owned and operated by Dalata Hotel Group, took approximately 24 months and a €40 million investment to complete. The opening of the hotel has also created 100 jobs.

The hotel includes 187 guest bedrooms, a fitness suite, six fully equipped meeting rooms and two brand new dining concepts - Gaudens Restaurant and Lockside Bar/Social.

The unique hotel project included the restoration of three 18th century Georgian buildings - 35, 36 and 37 Charlemont Street. The 4 star hotel has been carefully designed to marry modern architecture with historic Dublin. The hotel integrates the classical features of the Georgian buildings linking them with a brand new 4-storey building, with transition from old to new showcased in the lobby space.

Commenting on the new hotel, General Manager at Clayton Hotel Charlemont, Lynn Cawley said, "We are excited to launch our brand-new hotel. We recognised the importance of maintaining the luxury hotel experience of which guests at Clayton Hotels will be familiar, we look forward to exceeding our guests expectations at Clayton Hotel Charlemont."
