One of Ireland’s largest indigenous technology firms, I.T. Alliance Group has announced record revenues of €36m in 2016. The group increased employee numbers in 2016 by 80 from 470 to 550.

Drivers of the growth include demand in the channel for IT outsourcing, Microsoft cloud solutions and 24x7 support services in addition to interim IT resourcing solutions across the UK and Ireland.

The technology company has announced two appointments to its senior management team to deal with this growth. Sean Kennedy has been appointed to a newly created position as Group Chief Operations Officer.  Kennedy previously held senior IT and transformation roles with Vodafone.

Former software client leader at IBM, Matt Leighton has been appointed to a new position as UK Sales Director.

CEO and Founder of I.T. Alliance Group, Philip Maguire says, "Despite and partly because of Brexit, we see major potential in the UK and Irish technology markets and are making these senior appointments at this time to fuel our next wave of growth."

I.T. Alliance Group employs 550 people across its Irish and UK operations.
