Leading law firms, legal practitioners and in-house legal teams across Ireland were announced as the 2015 finalists for the AIB Private Banking Irish Law Awards today.

The awards are made up of 28 categories with 118 legal firms and practitioners across Ireland making the shortlist.

The AIB Private Banking Irish Law Awards commend excellence in Irish law and recognise the outstanding achievements and exemplary practices of leading law firms, legal practitioners and in-house legal teams throughout the country.

The awards are now in their fourth year and have grown considerably over the years. This year saw a 50% increase in nominations.

The judging panel for the awards is chaired by Dr. Eamonn G.Hall and the awards’ judging panel review each submission in the context of the criteria for each category. Moving from a lunch time event, the awards will culminate at the end of April with a black-tie gala evening ceremony hosted by Miriam O’Callaghan, in the DoubleTree by Hilton, Burlington Road, Dublin 4.

Head of AIB Private Banking, Patrick Farrell said, “I would like to congratulate the finalists in all the respective categories and look forward to celebrating with them on the night. The increased level and calibre of nominations speaks volumes for the growing stature of this event. Many of our valued customers are legal professionals who do outstanding work and we are delighted to be associated with an event that recognises excellence in this field.”
