Brown Bag Films, an Irish computer animation studio, is seeking 70 staff across its international office network.
Roles advertised include editors, production managers, FX artists and recruiters.
Most of the positions are advertised for its Dublin based studio in Smithfield, Dublin, with other positions across in Manchester, UK. The company has an office in Santa Monica, California also.
Founded in 1994 by Cathal Gaffney and Darragh O'Connell, Brown Bag Films have worked with some of the world’s biggest entertainment names, including Disney, Nickelodeon, BBC, Chorion, Silvergate Media and Amazon Studios.
Speaking at the inauguration of its new 30,000 sq ft animation studio, Brown Bag managing director Cathal Gaffney said the firm is keen to keep its roots in Smithfield, Dublin, reports the Irish Independent; "Our new studio sets an incredibly high standard and is the perfect home for our outstanding creative and technical talent. This is a very exciting time to be working in the kid’s content business and we are currently recruiting for talent to work with us on exciting shows like Watership Down and Doc McStuffins.”
Brown Bag Films' TV shows include Doc McStuffins, Henry Hugglemonster, Peter Rabbit, Bing, Olivia, Noddy in Toyland, and Octonauts.
New series currently in production include the upcoming The Stinky & Dirty Show for Amazon Studios and Vampirina for Disney Junior, according to the company’s website.
