Residential Property Prices rise by 0.6% in April

It was announced today that property prices rose 0.6% nationwide in April according to the latest CSO figures. Overall, residential property prices remained up 15.8% on an annual basis.

It is estimated that Dublin house prices rose by 1.0% in April whilst Dublin apartment prices remained the same. 

Outside of Dublin residential property prices rose by 0.3% in April. Prices were up 11.4% compared with April 2014.
 
Furthermore, at national level residential property prices were 37.8% lower than their peak level in 2007.  Dublin house prices were 36.3% lower than their peak, Dublin apartment prices were 42.2% lower than their peak and Dublin residential property prices overall were  38.1% lower than their highest level. Outside of Dublin residential property prices were 41.4% lower than their highest level in 2007.
